Euonymus fortunei, also known as wintercreeper, is an evergreen, mat-forming groundcover that reliably suppresses weeds through its dense growth. The plant typically reaches a height of 20–30 cm and can spread 1–2 meters through creeping or climbing shoots. It is very easy to care for, hardy down to -20°C, and resistant to diseases. Euonymus places only low demands on site and soil conditions and is suitable for sunny, shaded, and urban climate locations.
